Your guide to the enrolment process
Step 1: Experience MacKillop Catholic College
We invite you to come and experience our College at one of the Open Mornings or Principal's Tours. Commencement dates will be announced shortly.
Step 2: Apply
Please complete the Application for Enrolment Form. Upon receipt of the completed enrolment form, you will receive correspondence from our Enrolment Registrar confirming receipt of the application and the next steps in the enrolment journey. More information is available on the Applications page.
Step 3: Interview
You will be contacted to arrange an enrolment interview. As a guide, enrolment interviews are conducted prior to commencement. The enrolment interview provides you and your child with an opportunity to meet key staff and will cover various topics such as your child's favourite subjects and interests; and their learning, medical or pastoral needs, which will assist with their transition. It is also a chance for us to get to know the family a little more. Your daughter/son will be required to attend the interview with you.
Step 4: Formal Offer
Following the enrolment interview, a formal offer of a place may be made. To accept the offer, the completed paperwork is required by the due date. In signing these documents, families acknowledge they have read and understood all College expectations and procedures as outlined in the Families Guide. Once the paperwork has been received, our Enrolments Registrar will send correspondence confirming your child's place at the College.
Step 5: Transition
Details regarding your child's transition will be communicated to your family. Our dedicated Well-being and Pastoral team will support your child in their transition to College.
As a guide, the year prior to commencement, students with confirmed places for Year 7, will be invited to an Orientation Day.
